IMPORTANT INFORMATION
** I set up Google Classroom for each period. You should have received an invitation to your math class. If you did not get the invitation email me at [email protected] and I will make sure you get an invite.
Thanks!
Directions and information about Math class start next week, Tuesday, April 14.
1. Math classes will meet Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-9:15. During this time you should be watching the math video for the day and filling in the video handout (can be put on notebook paper) and then doing the math practice page (it's like the homework) and doing the QUIZZIZ that are assigned. You have until the next Math class day at 8:30 to complete any work, but make every effort to do it during class time. Class materials will still be available, but you want to keep current with the lessons as best you can. The goal should be to have all of the weeks math done by Sunday so you are ready for the new weeks materials.
2. During the math slot I will be free to answer questions on google classroom stream and can do a google meet if needed. Math 7 time will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-8:50 and Math 7 Plus time is 8:55-9:15.
2. I will post answers to practice sheets, so you can check and make sure you are doing the problems correctly. Some assignments will be Goformative or QUIZZIZ and can be checked as you do them.
4. You may ask questions in Google classroom stream, but this is not the place to chat with friends. Questions should be related to the topic. Be respectful. You may also ask questions during office hours or email me questions from your school email account if you prefer.
5. Office hours will be live and held daily from 1:00 - 2:00. You can stream or email me at this time and if needed I can do a google meet.
6. We will check your work to see how well you are understanding the concepts, but will not be recording grades yet. You will be able to see each goformative grade after we close the check. The grades will be used to direct review and will be held until we get further direction from WCPSS. Do your best work. Assume the grades may count at some point. All of the concepts being taught will be needed for math next year!
